All the rooms at Humm are interconnected with audio tie lines, speaker ties and ethernet running audio and video. Each room has a monitor screen with a 1ms response time, perfect for any audio to visual work. There is also line of sight between the live room and control room.
The mic locker features a range of studio regulars from AKG, Coles, Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, Rode, Stam Audio, BeyerDynamic & AEA
The live room at Humm is big enough (9x5 metres) for a band or ensemble to record together comfortably.
Humm has a ‘Drumbrella’, a moveable ceiling panel that can be lowered to deaden and dry up drums or leave open for that big rock drum sound. The live room is acoustically versatile and controllable.
The dead booth at Humm is perfect for isolating loud guitar amps whilst tracking other instruments in the live room. Fully treated and without reflections the booth gives a perfect dry and close up vocal.
